Woodstock Arts will present a reimagined production of William Shakespeare’s "Much Ado About Nothing" beginning February 6. Adapted by Claire F. Martin, this version transports the 16th-century narrative to New England at the end of World War II.

The production offers a fresh take on the classic romantic comedy by setting the events during the conclusion of the European leg of the war. Martin’s adaptation seeks to demonstrate the story's historical versatility and relevance across centuries. Promotional materials depict cast members in 1940s attire, utilizing imagery reminiscent of the era's "Rosie the Riveter" iconography.

According to the announcement, the play is scheduled for a limited engagement on the Woodstock Arts stage. The run begins on February 6 and concludes on February 22.

Residents wishing to attend the performance can secure admission in advance through the organization. This production serves as the arts center's primary theatrical offering for the month of February.
