About Us
Woodstock Community News is a community news organization dedicated to clear, trustworthy local journalism for the people who live and work here in Woodstock, GA
We focus on reporting that starts with primary sources: local government, public safety agencies, public schools, and community focused nonprofits and organizations. Whenever possible, we go directly to these sources to understand what is happening and why it matters to the community.
Our coverage is guided by the AP Stylebook and a commitment to neutral, fact based reporting. We focus on context and explanation rather than commentary, and aim to publish stories that are accurate, useful, and relevant to everyday life.
We do not publish crime blotters or mugshot galleries. We cover local elections, but we are not affiliated with any political party, and we work carefully to report in a fair, balanced, and nonpartisan way.
We welcome input from our readers. If you know of additional primary sources we should monitor, or have ideas for how local news could better serve this community, please reach out.
