Woodstock Sets Date for 29th Christmas Jubilee Parade
The annual holiday event features a Main Street procession and tree lighting ceremony on December 7.

<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>The City of Woodstock will welcome the holiday season with its 29th Annual Christmas Jubilee & Parade of Lights on Sunday, December 7, 2025. The celebration brings a parade down Main Street and evening festivities to The Park at City Center.</p><p>The parade begins at 5:30 p.m., traveling from Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road down Main Street to the Sam's Club at Highway 92. City officials advise residents to plan for road closures starting at 5:15 p.m. and to expect detours around the downtown area. The event will take place rain or shine unless severe weather occurs.</p><p>Following the procession, the celebration moves to The Park at City Center for the official lighting of a 30-foot Christmas tree with Mayor Michael Caldwell and Santa Claus. The event features free activities for families, including sugar plum cupcake decorating, a "Kris Kringle Kidz Kraft" area, carnival games, and inflatables. Attendees can also visit with Santa in the gazebo and enjoy food from local vendors.</p><p>Children can drop off wish lists at Santa’s Mailbox in the gazebo from November 27 through December 14 to receive a personalized response. Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden described the nearly 30-year tradition as a time for neighbors to celebrate in the heart of the city.</p>
