Woodstock City Center Parking Deck to Close One Entrance Each Morning Next Week for Cleaning
The Arnold Mill entrance closes Monday morning, the Chambers Street entrance Tuesday, as crews work level by level through the deck

The City of Woodstock's Property Maintenance crew will clean the City Center parking deck across two consecutive mornings next week, temporarily closing one entrance each day while work is underway, a routine but important reminder for anyone with early downtown plans.
On Monday, April 20, crews tackle the third level. The Arnold Mill entrance will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon, and drivers should avoid parking on that level during those hours. The following morning, Tuesday, April 21, cleaning shifts to the second level, with the Chambers Street entrance closed during the same 7 a.m. to noon window. Both entrances are expected to reopen by noon each day, with normal parking resuming shortly after.
The timing matters for a downtown that has grown considerably busier. The City Center parking deck anchors the heart of Woodstock's revitalized downtown corridor, serving the steady stream of shoppers, diners, and visitors drawn to the area's restaurants, boutiques, and city facilities on any given weekday morning. Keeping the structure clean and well-maintained is part of how the city protects that investment, concrete parking decks require regular washing to prevent the buildup of oil, debris, and moisture that can accelerate surface deterioration over time.
For most visitors, the workaround is simple: use the alternate entrance on whichever morning your usual route is blocked, and avoid parking on the level being cleaned. Those arriving after noon on either day should find everything back to normal.
