Three Sequoyah Football Players Sign National Letters of Intent
Student-athletes commit to play at U.S. Naval Academy, Memphis, and Samford.

<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>Three Sequoyah High School football players signed binding commitments to play at the collegiate level on Wednesday, marking National Signing Day. The ceremony honored seniors Alex Brewer, William Rajecki, and Maddox Waller as they finalized their university decisions.</p><p>The event, held at Sequoyah High School, recognized the athletes for signing their National Letters of Intent. Alex Brewer committed to the U.S. Naval Academy, William Rajecki signed with the University of Memphis, and Maddox Waller committed to Samford University. They were joined at the signing table by Principal Robert Van Alstyne and Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Peter Vajda.</p><p>Wednesday marked the earliest date high school seniors could sign binding commitments for football. According to the Cherokee County School District, these three signings bring the total number of celebrated student-athletes to 56 for the current school year. Additional signing ceremonies are planned for later in the academic year to recognize more students advancing to college athletics.</p>
