New Art Exhibition 'Illumination' Opens Friday in Woodstock

<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>Woodstock residents are invited to attend the opening reception for a new art exhibition, "Illumination: The Contours of Light," taking place this Friday, Jan. 9. The showcase explores the compelling relationship between darkness and light through the end of February.</p><p>According to the exhibition announcement, the collection presents the ways that light reveals and shapes the surrounding world. The show focuses on the "subtle but compelling" interplay of shadow and silhouette. The exhibition is scheduled to remain on display from Jan. 9 through Feb. 28.</p><p>Cynthia Nourse Thompson serves as the curator for the exhibit. Promotional materials for the event credit artist Eduardo Fausti for works titled "Callisto" and "La Luna Cresente," suggesting a focus on celestial imagery and high-contrast visuals.</p><p>The opening reception is set for this Friday, launching the seven-week run of the show. Residents interested in viewing the installation can visit the exhibition starting Jan. 9.</p>
