Master Firefighter Timmy Thai Named 2025 Firefighter of the Year

The Woodstock Fire Department has selected Master Firefighter Timmy Thai as the 2025 Firefighter of the Year. Thai received the distinction during the department’s annual banquet, where he was recognized for his dedication to the agency and the community.
Department officials cited Thai’s consistent positive attitude and his role as an example to his peers as primary reasons for the selection. The announcement specifically highlighted his strong work ethic and the value he brings to the city's emergency services team.
Thai was presented with a commemorative glass award bearing the department’s seal. The Woodstock Fire Department, which has served the area since 1947, presents this honor to recognize outstanding performance among its personnel.
