Firefighters Extinguish Early Morning Attic Fire Near Woodstock

Crews arrived to find a chimney fire had spread to the home's attic, but quickly brought the situation under control.</p><p>Upon arrival at the home in unincorporated Cherokee County, emergency teams discovered the flames had extended beyond the chimney structure. Firefighters immediately conducted a search of the residence to ensure no victims were trapped inside while simultaneously working to contain the blaze.</p><p>officials confirmed that no injuries were reported during the incident. Fire crews remain on the scene this morning to conduct salvage and overhaul operations, ensuring the fire is completely extinguished and checking for any remaining hot spots.</p>
