Creekland Middle School Head Custodian Wins District Support Staff Award

<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>Creekland Middle School Head Custodian Karen Brown has been named a Cherokee County School District (CCSD) Support Staff Employee of the Year, earning top honors in the middle school, high school, and centers category during the district’s annual celebration on Feb. 5.</p><p>School Board Chair Janet Read Welch led the recognition of honorees selected from schools, centers, and central office divisions throughout the county. "Our support staff always know everything," Welch said during the event, which featured tribute videos for the top winners.</p><p>Brown was one of three overall winners selected for district-wide recognition. Awards were presented in three specific categories: elementary schools, central office, and the combined middle school, high school, and centers division represented by Brown.</p>
