Clark Creek STEM Academy Achieves High Marks for Student Progress
The elementary school increased its state accountability score to 92.6, surpassing previous records.

Clark Creek ES STEM Academy has secured a score of 92.6 for Progress on Georgia’s statewide accountability system, marking a significant increase that highlights student academic growth within the Cherokee County School District.
The school’s performance on the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) rose by 3.1 points compared to the previous year. According to district officials, this specific metric verifies that students are learning and growing at a higher rate in Clark Creek classrooms compared to statistical expectations.
Principal Joey Moss credited the achievement to a collaborative effort involving the entire school community. "Student work, teachers, teacher leaders, administrative team, academic coaches, support staff, district support staff, our stakeholders – everyone!" Moss said regarding the team behind the success.
