The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office announced that administrative offices will close for three days starting Wednesday, Dec. 24, in observance of the holiday season, temporarily pausing non-emergency services for county residents.

Administrative offices will remain closed from Wednesday, Dec. 24, through Friday, Dec. 26. Officials confirmed that offices are scheduled to reopen for normal business operations on Monday, Dec. 29.

Residents needing to handle administrative business, such as records requests or permits, should plan to visit before the closure begins or wait until the following week. While administrative offices are closed, essential law enforcement services and patrols will continue without interruption.
