Cherokee Schools Planning Normal Operations Thursday Despite Forecast

The district advised parents that they will provide updates if any changes to the schedule become necessary.</p><p>According to the Jan. 13 message sent to families, the school system is coordinating with community partners to assess the situation. These partners include local public safety agencies, local governments, and the Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency.</p><p>District officials stated that whenever inclement weather advisories are issued for the area, they utilize these partnerships to make informed decisions regarding school operations.
