Cherokee County officials honored six employees from the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office (C.S.O.) for their dedicated service during the Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday afternoon. The ceremony recognized staff members reaching significant career milestones ranging from five to ten years of employment.

Stephen Hart received recognition for achieving ten years of employment with the county. His decade of service was highlighted alongside several colleagues reaching the five-year mark within the Sheriff's Office.

Five additional C.S.O. staff members were honored for five years of service: Kenneth McClure, Hollie Wokal, Devon Tzimenatos, Harley Myers, and Kaleigh Shaw. The presentation occurred during the regular commission meeting, emphasizing the county's appreciation for staff longevity and commitment to public service.
