The Cherokee County School District is looking to add custodians to its team and is giving prospective applicants a quick, low-pressure way to learn more, a series of 30-minute information sessions this Thursday at its Canton facility.
The sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon on March 12 at 1020 Keeter Road in Canton, with six back-to-back time slots available so attendees can drop in at a time that works for them. The format is designed to be brief and informational, giving interested candidates a chance to ask questions before committing to a full application.
The pay range is a notable draw. According to the district, custodial positions start between $17.57 and $27.56 per hour, and the jobs come with benefits eligibility and multiple scheduling options, details that could appeal to job seekers looking for stable, full-time or flexible work within their own community.
For anyone who has considered working in Cherokee County's schools but wasn't sure where to start, Thursday's open-door event offers a straightforward first step.
