CBBE Announces $25 Million Expansion, 70 New Jobs in Canton
Architectural millwork company plans new 130,000-square-foot headquarters at Canton Corporate Park.

<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>Commercial Bank & Business Equipment (CBBE) announced plans on Jan. 21 to invest $25 million in a new headquarters in Cherokee County. The expansion at the newly developed Canton Corporate Park is expected to create 70 new jobs, nearly doubling the local manufacturer's workforce.</p><p>The project involves constructing a 130,000-square-foot facility on the first developed tract of the 50-acre Canton Corporate Park. This new headquarters represents a significant upgrade from the company’s current 50,000-square-foot location in Canton. According to the Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED), the site was selected for its strategic proximity to I-575 and access to local amenities.</p><p>Founded in 1985, CBBE specializes in custom architectural millwork, including desks, tables, and casework for financial institutions, healthcare facilities, and places of worship. The company currently employs 85 people. CBBE President Harold Turner stated that the investment will allow the company to better serve customers and support its growing team within the community they call home.</p><p>Local officials highlighted the economic impact of the project. Canton Mayor Bill Grant described the expansion as an affirmation of the city's "Roadmap for Success," noting that it brings skilled talent and high-quality jobs to the area. COED officials indicated that two additional sites remain available at the Canton Corporate Park for future commercial development.</p>
