Arnold Mill Elementary School has achieved a significant academic milestone, recording a 14.7-point increase in its Progress score on Georgia's statewide accountability system. Principal Dan Fuller announced the achievement on February 3, crediting teachers for the substantial gains in student growth.
According to the Cherokee County School District (CCSD), the school's Progress score rose to 96.5 on the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI). In addition to the surge in Progress metrics, Arnold Mill Elementary also recorded increases in Content Mastery and Readiness categories.
"This success is a testament to our teachers stepping up to implement school improvement strategies," Principal Dan Fuller said regarding the announcement. The district stated that these results verify students are "learning more and growing more" in local classrooms compared to other environments.
The CCRPI is the statewide accountability system used by Georgia to measure school performance and student success.
