Woodstock Arts Opens 'Seared' With a Fully Functional Kitchen Onstage

The production of Theresa Rebeck's culinary drama runs through March 29, with cast members cooking real food live during performances
<p><em>Woodstock Wire Staff</em></p><p>Woodstock Arts opened its production of "Seared," written by Theresa Rebeck, on March 13, with performances running through March 29.</p><p>The production features an ambitious staging concept: the set has been transformed into a fully functional kitchen, where cast members chop, slice and sear up real food live during each performance.</p><p>The show is directed by Joseph Louis Arrigo, with assistant direction by Riley Guers and stage management by Lindsay Lutes.</p><p>The production team includes costume design by Katie Bergmark, lighting design by Chris Keil, scenic design by Nathan Gay and Zach Stolz, and props design by Zach Stolz.
