Late Nurse Jami Stefano Named CCSD Support Staff Winner
The school district presented its first-ever memorial award to the former lead nurse during the annual celebration.

<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>The Cherokee County School District recognized the late Jami Stefano as the central office Support Staff Employee of the Year on Feb. 6, marking the district’s first-ever memorial presentation for this annual honor.</p><p>Stefano, who served as a lead nurse for CCSD, was selected as the overall winner for the central office category. She worked within the School Leadership & Operations division. The district honored her legacy with a tribute video during the presentation.</p><p>The annual awards program recognizes support staff selected by each school, center, and central office division throughout the county. In addition to the central office award presented to Stefano, the district recognized overall winners in two other categories: elementary schools and middle schools/high schools/centers.</p><p>Residents can view the video tribute to Stefano and find information on all support staff honorees on the district's official website.</p>
