Firefighters Extinguish Woodberry Court Townhouse Fire; No Injuries Reported

Woodstock and Cherokee County crews prevented flames from spreading to adjacent homes during a Saturday night incident.
<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>Woodstock firefighters responded to a residential structure fire at 120 Woodberry Court on Saturday night, quickly extinguishing the flames before they could spread to neighboring units. All occupants evacuated the townhouse safely prior to the arrival of emergency crews.</p><p>The Woodstock Fire Department, in coordination with Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services, arrived at the scene at approximately 8:37 p.m. on November 29. Upon arrival, personnel observed visible fire and smoke coming from the residence. Crews immediately deployed hose lines and executed an interior attack to bring the fire under control.</p><p>Woodstock Fire Chief Shane Dobson credited the rapid response for containing the damage. "The swift actions of the fire crews preventing the fire from spreading further inside the affected home or to adjacent homes," Dobson stated regarding the townhouse complex.</p><p>No injuries were reported among residents or emergency personnel during the incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the department.</p>
