Several roads closed early Monday morning due to unspecified conditions, with Ridgewalk Parkway near Woodstock among those reopened
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office reported multiple road closures across the county early in the morning, including roads in and around the Woodstock area, according to a post on the agency's official Facebook page.
Roads closed as of 5:50 a.m. included Bells Ferry Road near Wooten Drive, Butterworth Road near Knox Bridge Highway, Toonigh Road near Blalock Road, Ball Ground Road near Hawkins Farm Lane, and Tripp Road near East Cherokee Drive.
Ridgewalk Parkway near Woodstock Parkway was listed as reopened at the time of the update.
The Sheriff's Office said the post would serve as the sole source for road closure updates and would be refreshed throughout the morning, with reopened roads noted as conditions changed.
Drivers in affected areas were encouraged to check the post for the latest information and plan accordingly.
