Cherokee County School District announced a two-hour delayed start to the school day after storms moved through the area, with the district confirming that conditions had cleared and facilities were ready before the school day began.
All CCSD schools started two hours after their regularly scheduled times, with bus stop pickup times adjusted accordingly.
Families with students in Cherokee County schools were advised to plan for the adjusted schedule.
