Cherokee County Schools Hosts Custodian Hiring Event Dec. 18
District officials seek new staff members with competitive pay and benefits at upcoming information sessions.

The Cherokee County School District (CCSD) is seeking new custodial staff and will host a series of information sessions on Thursday, Dec. 18. Residents interested in positions starting at $17.57 per hour can attend the hiring event at the district's Canton facility.
The event will take place at 1020 Keeter Road in Canton. To accommodate different schedules, the district is offering multiple 30-minute information sessions throughout the morning. Candidates can join a session starting at 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., or 11:00 a.m., with the final session concluding at 11:30 a.m.
According to the district announcement, starting compensation for these roles ranges from $17.57 to $27.56 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, the positions are benefit-eligible and offer multiple scheduling options. Selected candidates will work within the school system's balanced calendar environment.
