Residents can attend an in-person forum later this month or complete an online survey to help shape the district's long-range direction through 2032
The Cherokee County School District is seeking community input as it develops its long-range strategic plan, dubbed Elevate 2032, which will ultimately be presented to the School Board for adoption.
A community forum is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the School Board Auditorium, located at 1205 Bluffs Parkway, Canton 30114. The event is open to all community members and will provide an opportunity to learn about the district's current success and help shape its future priorities.
In addition to the in-person forum, the district is gathering stakeholder feedback through focus group meetings and an online survey, giving residents who cannot attend in person another way to participate in the planning process.
The Elevate 2032 plan represents the district's long-range strategic plan, with the stated goal of becoming the highest-performing school district in Georgia. Feedback collected through all three channels will be used to inform the plan before it goes before the School Board for approval.
Cherokee County residents, parents and community members are encouraged to attend the forum or complete the online survey to ensure their voices are reflected in the district's future direction. More information is available at cherokeek12.net.
