Schools delayed two hours, aquatic center opens at 10 a.m., and some CATS transit routes canceled
Cherokee County government offices and services announced delayed openings Monday, with updates posted to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
Cherokee County Schools delayed all start times by two hours, with bus stop pick-up times pushed back accordingly. The Cherokee County GA School District's official pages are available for the latest updates.
The Cherokee County Aquatic Center delayed its opening until 10 a.m.
CATS Cherokee County transit service saw partial disruptions, with DHS routes canceled for the day. All other CATS services resumed normal operations.
The Sheriff's Office noted that its post is the only one it will use to communicate delayed openings of government offices or services, directing residents to monitor its Facebook page for announcements.
