Avery Elementary School has achieved a 97.0 score for Progress on Georgia’s College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), marking an increase of nearly five points from the previous year, according to a February 3 announcement from the Cherokee County School District.

In addition to the Progress score, the school recorded marks above 90 in both Content Mastery and Readiness. District officials stated these metrics verify that students are "learning more and growing more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else" under the statewide accountability system.

Avery Elementary School Principal Dr. Lisa Turner highlighted the role of educators in achieving these results. "Avery's success is attributed to the solid instructional practices of our teachers," Turner said regarding the school's performance data.
