Creekland Middle School Achieves Significant Gains in State Testing

The school reported notable increases in overall content mastery and significant progress among English Learner students, according to a Cherokee County School District announcement released February 7.</p><p>According to the district, Creekland Middle School achieved a 4.4-point increase in Content Mastery for the overall student body on Georgia's College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI). Additionally, the school recorded a 24.3-point increase in the Progress metric specifically for English Learners.</p><p>"It shows how important each teacher is to the success of all students," said Matthew May of Creekland Middle School regarding the new data. The district highlighted these metrics as evidence that local students are maximizing their learning potential within the classroom environment.</p><p>The CCRPI serves as the statewide accountability system used to measure school performance in Georgia.
