Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Sets Thanksgiving Administrative Closures
Administrative offices will close Thursday and Friday while patrols continue.

<p><em>Woodstock Community News| Woodstock, GA</em></p><p>The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office has announced that its administrative headquarters will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, affecting non-emergency services for county residents.</p><p>Residents needing administrative assistance, such as records requests or permits, will need to plan around the two-day closure. The offices are scheduled to be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday.</p><p>While administrative buildings will be shut down, the closure applies only to business offices. Essential law enforcement activities, including patrols and emergency response services, remain fully operational to ensure community safety throughout the holiday weekend.</p><p>In the announcement, the Sheriff’s Office extended well wishes to the community, hoping for a "safe and happy Thanksgiving" for all Cherokee County families.</p>
